Once again this was a rivalry that stemmed from another feud, an ongoing beef between Eminem and House Of Pain frontman Everlast, which Limp Bizkit just happened to get caught up in the middle of. Limp Bizkit member DJ Lethal previously worked with Everlast when the pair were two of the three representatives of the rock-rap crew House Of Pain. However, as the Eminem-Everlast feud was in full force, Limp Bizkit were co-headliners with Eminem on the Anger Management tour. Eminem was discussing the feud with the members of Limp Bizkit backstage, who too claimed to share a disliking for Everlast. Bizkit even requested to be featured on a record Eminem was ready to put out insulting the House Of Pain rapper. Limp then went on to cancel on the day of the recording, leaving Eminem to record the track without their inclusion. However, it was when Limp Bizkit appeared on MTV and DJ Lethal claimed that Everlast would get the better of Eminem in a fight, which really angered Slim Shady. He labelled the band as two-faced and went on to make records questioning the band's bravery. Limp Bizkit have never responded to Eminem's jibes, on a recording or otherwise.
