Enter Shikari Albums Ranked From Worst To Best

3. Common Dreads

It is a huge shock that an album featuring Zzzonked, Hectic and Juggernauts ranks as low as three, but such is the quality of their work.

This album blends the heaviness of Take to the Skies, with a subtlety found in Gap in the Fence and Wall. Juggernauts is the song that most casual listeners will know but it is Hectic that stands out as an example of Rou's songwriting genius: "Oh if I could kidnap that feeling, the one that melts all fears from your mind. I'll make no demand, no ransom, 'cause I'll never set it free." This speaks to a nostalgia that we all experience of when life was better for us and choices we made we yet to be taken.

Fans of heavier sounds can indulge themselves in Antwerpen and Step Up, which still contain a heart and soul of illuminating craft to their lyrics. A class album within a stunning oeuvre.
