8. Deley
Psychedelic rock/post-punk
FFO: Legend of the Seagullmen, Shelter-era Alcest
Trippy, instrumental four-piece Deley first came onto the scene in 2012 and pride themselves on remaining true to their DIY eclectic roots. Experimenting with a huge wave of sound, blending electronica, post-punk and psychedelia, Deley's music is a somewhat ethereal experience, beginning with debut EP Adventures in Psychoacoustics in 2013.
The proceeding years saw the band tour their native Hungary before beginning their next steps as a band in preparation for their new EP. Deley began securing festival appearances, such as the Solar.United.Natives festival in 2016 as well as an international appearance at the post-rock/electronic festival Uncloud Fest in Utrecht, Netherlands later that year. They would then bring on board visual artist János Molnár for their live shows adding an optical experience to their repertoire, in time for their second EP, Sounds of Silence.
Deley have just concluded a European that saw them reach Germany, Netherlands and Czech Republic (documented by tour manager Márton Krómer) and are set to sub-headline Börzsönystock fesztivál in June.
