25. Never Let Me Down (1987)

One of the bunch of ‘80s studio albums that have little to commend them to the non-Bowie hardcore. It sold well on release, with Bowie still capitalising on the newly acquired fanbase post ‘Let’s Dance’.

The critics hated it at the time, and for once weren’t too far off the mark. It is hard to imagine it would figure on any Bowie fan’s top 20 list.
