14. Be Quick Or Be Dead - Fear Of The Dark

1992's Fear of the Dark was Bruce Dickinson's final album with the band for eight years, as rising tensions between members finally reached a crescendo.

Could you tell that the band were at loggerheads through their music? Yeah, a little bit.

Be Quick or Be Dead is a little bit silly, with Dickinson giving an almost pantomime performance on the microphone, as he tells the audience that something evil is coming their way.

The backing track isn't much to write home about; nothing special from a band that had been in the game for over a decade by this point. The group clearly needed a period of rebuilding, which would come over the next few albums, but getting there wasn't easy.
