Every My Chemical Romance Single Ranked Worst To Best

13. Fake Your Death

Admittedly losing some points due to its inevitable association with the band's untimely break up, Fake Your Death has been just about listenable since the band's reunion, and continues to send many fans speculating over what the band's scrapped fifth record The Paper Kingdom would have sounded like today.

A nice nostalgic piano ballad, Fake Your Death's title seemed to promise a reunion from the band - which, of course, finally materialised last year, the four-piece planning a string of stadium shows before the outbreak of COVID-19.

Accompanied by a music video comprised of clips from those of previous singles, Fake Your Death is a haunting meditation on how to carry during even the darkest of moments, a message particularly pertinent during these troubling times. Let's hope for new music soon.
