Every Queen Album Closing Song Ranked From Worst To Best

2. Save Me - The Game

Anybody who turned up the volume on Save Me, which admittedly does start very quietly, was in for a shock and a half when their ears were then blasted clean off the sides of their head.

In this powerful number, Mercury begs a lover to help him through this life, admitting that he can't make it on his own and that he is metaphorically "naked" and "far from home".

Save Me is a quintessential Queen composition, with its elegant piano and delicate vocals sitting alongside soaring guitars and crashing drums, the two somehow never butting heads.

A beautifully desperate affair, Save Me could have worked just as well as The Game's opener, but instead, it ensured that people were thinking about the album long after it had finished playing.
