Every Queen Album Opening Song Ranked From Worst To Best

5. One Vision - A Kind Of Magic

Whilst you might expect 1986's A Kind of Magic to open with the song of the same name, that distinction was given instead to a song that ends with a line about fried chicken.

One Vision was birthed from the elation felt by the band after their historic Live Aid performance. It was inspired by the life of Martin Luther King Jr. and his quest for civil rights, and even samples segments of his famous "I Have A Dream" speech.

Its meaty riff is complimented by an all-time great vocal performance from Freddie, as the emotion of such a pertinent subject matter can be heard in every single syllable.

Lots of fun, lots of energy, and with a strong core message, One Vision more than earned its spot at the top of the billing.
