Every Queen Album Opening Song Ranked From Worst To Best

10. Death On Two Legs (Dedicated To…) - A Night At The Opera

In the eyes of many, Queen's opus is 1975's A Night at the Opera.

The album that gave the world Bohemian Rhapsody, A Night at the Opera showcased the band's full creative potential, fusing elements from across the musical spectrum to create a cacophony of rock masculinity, theatre camp, and lyrical poetry.

This adventure starts with the song Death on Two Legs (Dedicated to...), which was the band taking a swipe at their former manager, Norman Sheffield. They do not hold back on Norm, calling him a leech, a mule, and several other things that probably wouldn't fly today.

Whilst its impressive to witness how angry a single person can get on this track, listening to Freddie rag on the same guy for three minutes gets old quite quickly. Still, as a historical source, this song is fascinating.
