Fleetwood Mac Albums Ranked From Worst To Best
11. Mystery To Me
The most evidential piece of the puzzle that marks a time of serious transition for the band, delving into more pop rock radio friendly symphonies, adding a lot more lyrically driven songs and painting a new picture for the public as the band headed into a new direction.
Mystery To Me is the pivotal album of Fleetwood Mac's renaissance era, prematurely embodying the spirit of future works and unforetold classics and nowhere is this more solidified than in the most glaring of vicissitudes as co-creator (Peter Green) had departed after gracing the last album with only a few chords on a singular track.
Even if it could be deemed as ironically harsh that the bands most successful period would initiate as the originators' time would conclude but with Christine McVie at the helm of this project after being relegated to only backing vocals and minimalistic writing duties in previous outings, it is not a mystery to me and neither should it be to you as to how and why the band managed to find its footing and become a runaway success in the years that followed.
