Grammy Awards 2016: Predicting The Winners

6. Best Dance Recording

Nominees: Above & Beyond; The Chemical Brothers; Flying Lotus featuring Kendrick Lamar; Galantis; Skrillex and Diplo featuring Justin Bieber.Who Should Win: Skrillex and Diplo featuring Justin Bieber Besides Queen Adele, 2015 was The Year of Justin Bieber. Bouncing back from bad press, run-ins with the law and a barrage of hate from nearly every human over the age of 15, the Bieber made an astonishing comeback, winning adoration and a new host of fans from grandmas to musclebound men. Bieber was back. But we shouldn't forget that it was actually Skrillex and Diplo that helped the former YouTube star get back on the path to mass popularity. Featuring on their energetic and pulsating song, Where Are U Now?, Justin found that EDM and dance worked pretty well for him. The song blew up and dominated dance floors like no other for the majority of the year. Skrillex and Diplo's production was hypnotic and the Eastern- inspired made this song the most successful out of all five nominees. The Chemical Brothers are legends of the dance and festival scenes and Galantis showcased that just because ABBA don't record music anymore, we should forget about Sweden. But none of these nominees are able to compete with the star power of the Bieber; their tracks were great, but none of them brought as many people to the dance floor or were as infectious as Where Are U Now?.
