9. "Heart Of Chrome" - Revenge, 1992
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YtptDD7aCBI One of the heavier tracks on Revenge, this one has a familiar Kiss strut that had been largely forsaken during their '80's hair metal period as well as a headbanging chorus that'll have you throwing the horns \m/. Another track by Stanley and Vincent, this one sees a co-writing credit going to producer Bob Ezrin (Destroyer) who was brought back to try to recapture earlier magic; thankfully there were no violins involved this time around. The album spawned 3 singles, "God Gave Rock N Roll To You II", "Domino" and "Unholy" - with only the latter being deserving. Heart of Chrome would have been a better choice than the other two. Lyrically it seems that the tables have been turned on a seriously pissed-off Mr. Stanley who belabors his lady's heart of chrome. Could it be her revenge for having been fu-gotten?
