Korn: EVERY Album Ranked Worst To Best
8. Untitled
The band's eighth and officially untitled album sees Korn embracing a much more relaxed and playful vibe than their previous record. Toning down the anger that set them apart from other bands earlier in their career, this album is probably the lightest and most re-playable record in their entire discography.
From the rocking catchiness of "Evolution" to the relaxed "Hold On" and the surprisingly heavy "Killing," Untitled is Korn at their most confident and assured, digging into some deep issues whilst striking its audiences with some solid rock and hip-hop inspired beats.
"Love and Luxury" and "Innocent Bystander" don't quite mesh with the rest of the record, and the toned down lyricism of Jonathan Davis sometimes makes the album feel almost too light in places, but due to the band's more laidback approach to their craft, Untitled is still a solid effort from the nu-metal gods.
