8. Lightning Hat, Jacket And Body Suit At the 52nd Grammy Award Ceremony in 2009 Lady Gaga wore a body suit, dress, and jacket combo custom made by Armani Privé and lightning hat by Philip Treacy. She wore this outfit while in the audience, backstage and in the press room post-ceremony. Gaga chose to wear Giorgio Armani custom made outfits all night at the ceremony - a seemingly unusual choice for the pop phenomenon, but according to Armani 'she is a modern fashion phenomenon' whose music 'is like a soundtrack of our times', and they were thrilled to create a series of outfits especially for her. This Armani number is very sparkly with strategically placed crystals on the body suit - I sure wouldn't like to have been the audience member seated behind her - that lightning headpiece looks like it could seriously take out an eye. One of the pictures above shows Lady Gaga with pink triangles on her face and the other without. It turns out those lightning bolts were most probably ruined from joyful tears bought on from her Grammy wins: "Well, we found out we won two Grammys right before we went onstage. And I cried and ruined all my make up, so my make up artist was screaming at me. And it was really memorable and I'll never forget about it."
