Megadeth: Every Album Ranked From Worst To Best

10. Dystopia

Following 2013's dull as ditchwater Super Collider, most fans were delighted upon hearing Fatal Illusion, the first track released from 2016's Dystopia. Boasting pounding drums, snarling vocals and a classic Megadeth bass line, it became clear that once again the band was moving away from commercialness and returning to what they do best. Even though Dystopia is the band's fifteenth studio album, it's both technically impressive and impressively aggressive. The music is tight, the lyrics are classic Megadeth (dealing primarily with contemporary politics) and throughout the records eleven-track run the pace rarely lets up. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3-d6LFLpBvw It's amazing that over three decades after the release of their first regard, the band can put out something so vital.
