Metallica - Hardwired... To Self-Destruct: Ranking Every Song From Worst To Best

Proof that simplicity can be a virtue, Here Comes Revenge may be one of the album's most straight-forward songs on a technical level, but it's a ton of fun with a savage main riff and some terrific vocals from the Het.

There's a strong Black Album vibe with this one, and while the chorus is a little on the cheesy side (mainly Het's constant screams of "Revenge!"), the moody, melodic verses feel like classic Metallica throughout.

This is the epic, intense Metallica a lot of fans wanted to hear the return of, and while it perhaps doesn't feel quite as "big" as their earlier records, it's still a damn good effort.
