Miley Cyrus: Bangerz - All Tracks Reviewed & Analysed
10. FU feat. French Montana
This is 100% the most creative song on the album. The track wouldn't be out of place in a cabaret performance and is extremely reminiscent of Paloma Faith's most recent work. This song gets a 5 star rating from me for its creativity and Miley is finally doing something unique which doesn't involve getting naked. The only downside of the song is the blatant title which also features in the lyrics of the song and is not particularly appropriate for singing in public.rating: 4
11. Do My Thang
Miley retreats to her Southern roots in this track singing "I'm a southern belle crazier than hell/Getting wild up in here/Getting live up in here." This is definitely the kind of dance style song that would fit in well in night clubs and despite the crazy obscenity that appears towards the latter part of the song, it could certainly be a candidate for another single.rating: 3
12. Maybe You're Right
This track really gets to the heart of her break-up with Liam Hemsworth. It's a rocky ballad which describes the breakdown of the relationship - the stupid arguments and the suggestion that it might have been Miley who had the final say in ending the relationship - "You might think I'm crazy/That I'm lost and foolish/Leaving you behind." Whatever the reason for the breakdown of their relationship, it's nice to see Miley singing about something that isn't drugs or partying.rating: 3.5
13. Someone Else
The final track on the album encompasses everything that Miley has recently declared about growing up and changing from her more profound statements such as "My last record I feel so disconnected from I was 16 or 17 when I made it. When you're in your 20's, you just don't really know that person anymore," to her more jarring comment that Hannah Montana had been murdered by Miley herself. Either way, I think this track really shows that Miley has grown up in the last few years and her intense dislike for being compared to her former self.rating: 3
