3. D-7
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QN0ZAJ2xB9Y If you were a bootleg collector, D-7 might have been one of the first obscure Nirvana tracks you heard. Included on Hormoaning and several other packages, the track, a cover of The Wipers, was recorded at the BBC. The shift from maudlin, acoustic, steady signing and guitar work to blisteringly fast, electric thrashing and wailing is one of the standout moments from any of the bands tracks. D-7 was included in With the Lights Out, as well as on the anniversary edition of Nevermind - that edition might have the edge in mastering.
