Essex's favourite cheeky-chappy Olly Murs has just announced he will join One Direction on their 24-date tour of North America this summer. Despite denying any rumours of this previously, Olly has taken to Facebook to confirm he will be performing as their special guest for 19 dates of the almost sold-out tour. The tour will see them visit 11 states as well as Toronto, Canada. Olly Murs, who found fame during series six of the X Factor, is no stranger to performing with the odd boy band or two. Just last Saturday (24th March), Olly joined JLS and Rizzle Kicks for a concert at London's O2 Arena, in aid of Sport Relief. Olly's new single, Oh My Goodness, taken from his second album In Case You Didn't Know is released in the UK on April 1st. Boy band, One Direction, are enjoying success in both the UK and the USA. Fresh from a BRIT award win for Best British Single with debut track What Makes You Beautiful, One Direction flew across the pond to support Nickelodeon's Big Time Rush on tour. With a notable performance on the The Today Show and a segment set aside for them on Saturday Night Live, One Direction mania has officially hit the US. Only a week ago, Liam, Louis, Zayn, Niall and Harry became the first UK act to debut at number one on the US album chart.
