Pretty Reckless Announce Tour Dates

pretty reckless The Pretty Reckless frontwoman Taylor Momsen, of "Gossip Girl" fame, has announced dates for an upcoming tour to support the band's second album, "Going to Hell." During a Q&A session from June 8th on the band's website, more than 30 dates were announced for an upcoming U.S. tour. The new album is a follow up to 2010's "Light Me Up." Their first album reached moderate success with singles "Make Me Wanna Die," "Miss Nothing" and "Just Tonight." While the album was more successful in the UK than in the U.S., "Kill Me" was nominated for a Revolver magazine Golden God award for Song of the Year in 2012. The band also released a five-track EP titled "Hit Me Like a Man" in March 2012 that featured three new songs and two live versions of songs from their debut album. On June 17th, the first single from the new album, "Follow Me Down," was released. July 1 a 2-minute teaser to the song "Burn" was released via the website, which the band set up specifically for the new album. There is not a set release date for the new album currently, although it is rumored to be a fall release. Pretty Reckless last toured the U.S. in support of Marilyn Manson's "Hey Cruel World" tour during the summer of 2012. The new tour begins in September and ends in mid-November and spans both the U.S. and parts of Canada.
