Radiohead: Every Album Ranked From Worst to Best

6. Amnesiac (2001)

51asaTXwMNL._SL500_SS500_ The sister to Kid A's brother. This album was recorded during the same time as Kid A but it shouldn't be looked at as an outtakes album at all. It bears a similar electronic sound to Kid A but it sets itself apart brilliantly with songs like Pyramid Song and Life In a Glass House with Thom Yorke even declaring Pyramid Song to be "the best thing we've committed to tape, ever" according to guitarist Ed O'Brian. Amnesiac captures a tone unlike any in all of Radiohead's discography by combining electronic music with guitar oriented sounds in such a way that Radiohead had yet to do at the time.Life In a Glass House is a real surprise when you come to it at the end of the record. It has a 1940s jazz sound to it while being distinctly different than anything Radiohead had done before it and now after it. The song was also used to great effect in Alfanso Cuaran's Children of Men. While Amnesiac may not be one of Radiohead's most beloved records it is still a fantastic album on its own right. Key Tracks- Life In a Glass House, Pyramid Song

My favorite movies are Before Sunrise, Pulp Fiction, 2001: A Space Odyssey, Alien and Her so don't be surprised to see those pop up in my writing from time to time. I'm currently in school for Journalism/English and I have an obsession with all things cinematic on the side.
