Radiohead: Every Album Ranked Worst To Best

8. Pablo Honey

Speaking of not-bad-but-mostly-forgettable, up next we have the band's debut record, Pablo Honey, released during the height of the 90s alt-rock scene and featuring none of the band's individual or experimental quirks.

Consistently ranked as the worst of the band's records, Pablo Honey's worst sin is that it isn't different enough when compared to their other albums. There's no grand experimentation, no genre mix-ups, and no overarching story or meaning bringing it all together.

It's just a 90s rock record, rather than an overtly "Radiohead" Radiohead album.

That doesn't mean it's bad, though. Granted, when you compare it to the likes of OK Computer and The Bends, it's an easily skippable addition to the band's back catalogue, but it's actually a fairly decent rock album in its own right.

You and Stop Whispering are both moody and explosive tracks, and Creep - though far from the band's personal favourite - is a classic tune which boosted their popularity to an unprecedented height. Not an all-timer of a record, sure, but a fun one nonetheless.
