Radiohead: Predicting Every Track On The New Album

11. I Froze Up

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AngJQVIefjA I Froze Up debuted during one of band's webcasts in 2002. Since then it has made a few appearances live, mostly during Thom Yorke's solo concerts. The piano ballad sounds very fitting of the time it was unveiled and could have sat neatly on either 2001's Amnesiac or 2003's Hail to the Thief. There's a chance that the song is lost in the past, but as always with Radiohead, it's possible they could revitalise and change it into something entirely different and incredible. With the climate change-themed lyrics of Silent Spring and Yorke's dedication to environmental activism, maybe now is the perfect time to revisit I Froze Up in the context of our changing world. Perhaps a new version of the song could be in the works. Maybe they're reworking it in the style of the The Daily Mail, the acclaimed, piano-led B-side the band put out in the King of Limbs era.
