Ranking All 7 Blink-182 Studio Albums From Worst To Best
4. Dude Ranch (1997)
The magnum opus of Blink-182's original lineup of Mark Hoppus, Tom DeLonge, and Scott Raynor, 'Dude Ranch' is one of those records you can go back and listen to over and over again without ever getting tired of it.
Released two years after 'Cheshire Cat' and two years before 'Enema of the State', 'Dude Ranch' is one of the band's most pivotal releases. It represents a time when they were truly coming into their own as a band and beginning to develop the unique style that would launch them into the mainstream.
Since it's essentially the middle ground between the skate punk style the band started out with and the pop punk style that made them huge, this album has something for just about every single Blink fan out there.
'Dude Ranch' is also musically great in its own right. With catchy, energetic tracks like 'Dammit' and 'Apple Shampoo', it's no wonder the band would really take off shortly thereafter. This album even features a love song dedicated to Princess Leia from Star Wars. You really can't go wrong there.
