Red Hot Chili Peppers: Every Unlimited Love Song Ranked Worst To Best

9. One Way Traffic

Another call back to '80s Chilis, One Way Traffic hears Frusciante pay homage to original Chili Peppers guitarist Hillel Slovak, with scatty, funk-inspired chords slicing through the mix.

Anthony Kiedis' vocals are admittedly jarring on this one. While adopting the rapping cadence of his younger self, he proceeds to list his reservations about ageing. Regardless of whether the irony of this was lost on him, the lyrics feel a little forced at times. If you were wondering which song on the album contains the most references to California, it's this one.

As soon as the chorus drops in, however, you're ready to forgive him and start enjoying the ride.
