Sonisphere 2014: 10 Reasons It's Going To Be Festival Of The Year

1. The Main Stages Alternate

Ever attended a festival and missed a band due to clashes? Of course you have. We all have and it's not a nice feeling at all. It can inexplicably ruin the set you're watching (usually if the one you've chosen ends up being a bit rubbish anyway) and can make you feel as though you've wasted your hard earned money. At Sonisphere this needn't be the case €“ for the more prominent bands anyway - because the Apollo and Saturn stages alternate in activity. For instance, as the line-up stands, it's looking as though on Friday night, Limp Bizkit will play on the main stage, Slayer will headline the second stage and then The Prodigy will headline on the main stage. On Saturday, it's seems as though Deftones will play on the main stage, Frank Turner will headline the second stage and then Iron Maiden will play etc. Don't quote this though; we're just guessing from the layout of the poster. But nevertheless, how wonderful would it be to see Deftones, Frank Turner and then Iron Maiden one after the other? This is the biggest selling point of Sonisphere, simply because no other festival does it. Do you agree or disagree? Is Sonisphere looking like the best option for you, or is another festival more to your liking? Comment below!
