The Beatles: 10 Perfect Non-Single Tracks

1. Here Comes The Sun: Abbey Road (1969)

As we're approaching summer, it would only be fitting to finish this list with one of the Beatles' most heartwarming tracks. "Here Comes the Sun" represents the absolute pinocle of George Harrison's artistic endeavours with the band. Both his guitar playing and lyric writing were blooming at this stage in his career.

During the early years, Harrison had constantly resided in the shadows of Lennon and McCartney, and even in the later years he struggled to assert himself as an equal contributor. Indeed, Abbey Road only contained two of Harrison's compositions - the other being "Something", which was one of only two singles released from the album - nevertheless both tracks were equal to, if not better than, anything Lennon and McCartney contributed.

By the time the Beatles broke up Harrison was ready to move on. The quality of his first solo record, post-split from the Beatles, indicated just how much material he had to offer. But "Here Comes The Sun" will always remain one of his most loved numbers.
