The Beatles: 14 Most Under-Appreciated Songs

10. I've Just Seen A Face (Help!)

The second half of the Help! soundtrack features a number of great songs that weren't even in the film, namely McCartney's ballad Yesterday. I've Just Seen A Face is one that is short, simple, and sweet.

It's really just Lennon, McCartney, and Harrison playing acoustic guitar with Starr on maracas as McCartney sings of a young lady's face that was just so entrancing, he has to be with her. Compared to other tracks on the album, it's no wonder that not many people know about it!

The good news is that after being featured in the hit film Across the Universe, I've Just Seen A Face is finally heading into the mainstream where it belongs. Besides being in the movie, McCartney has started performing it live quite often in recent years.

Despite its recent glory however, it still doesn't get played nearly enough on the fans' records.
