The Cowboy's Christmas Ball shared its title and a number of lyrics with the Chittenden poem before being put to a rousing, festive ditty. Brandon Flowers has said of this single that it is has been his children's favourite song and that they love to sing along with the video. It's easy to see why this would be the case, of course; the song has a fetching effect on listeners and the video demonstrates a proper cowboy adventure.
