The Killers: Ranking The Christmas Songs From Worst To Best

8. I Feel It In My Bones

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ECHv5KV4ZuM At the end of 2012 The Killers released I Feel It In My Bones as their seventh Christmas single, with the song also acting as a continuation of the Santa story that started with Don't Shoot Me Santa. Ryan Pardey, singer/songwriter for the band Halloween Town and occasional tour manager for The Killers, reprised his role as Santa for the song and the video. In the events of this portion of the story, Pardey's Santa continues to pursue Brandon Flowers who he has deemed to be worthy of a place on his ultimate naughty list. Flowers sings of how he is constantly aware of the pursuit, asking why he can't be forgiven for past transgressions having turned himself around. Pardey, however, simply won't hear it (yet). I Feel It In My Bones is one of the simpler Christmas songs that The Killers have released, and it features a lot of the familiar stadium-rock sounds that punctuated that year's album; Battle Born. In that way it's perhaps the least festive the band have produced, but it's easily as catchy and infectious as one would come to expect from Killers song by now!
