Valentine's Day: 20 Greatest Love Songs Of All Time

8. €œAs€ - Stevie Wonder

http://youtu.be/L_sG0weS1d8 If I have to watch another romantic comedy with an adorably neurotic thirty-ish woman singing/dancing/scrapbooking to a Stevie Wonder song I€™ll€ we€™ll whatever I do, it can€™t be too drastic because it€™s bound to happen in perpetuity until they stop making films. S tevie Wonder is the king of the upbeat love song: €œSign, Sealed, Delivered€, €œMa Cherie Amour€, €œHey Love€, and you get the point. He writes a love song like politicians lie; fast and smooth. Tell me if I€™m wrong, but I€™ve never seen Wonder€™s song €œAs€ used in a romantic comedy. Want to know why? It has a little too much depth for a basic romantic comedy plot (find guy, lose guy, get guy with plenty of shopping in between). €œAs€ is from Wonder€™s 1976 album Songs in the Key of Life, which is full of little gems (I also recommend €œIf It€™s Magic€ and €œKnocks Me off My Feet€).
