Valentine's Day: 20 Greatest Love Songs Of All Time

6. €œMake You Feel My Love€ Bob Dylan

http://youtu.be/0put0_a--Ng There are times when I watch people listening to Bob Dylan and I think to myself, €œThere is no way in the world that you aren€™t wishing somebody else would record this song so you don€™t have to listen to his voice.€ Don€™t get me wrong, I think the man is a brilliant songwriter (which is why so many artists cover/covet his work). I also enjoy a few of the songs that he sings: €œThe Times They Are a-Changin€, €œLay Lady Lay€, €œLike a Rolling Stone€, and €œMr. Tambourine Man.€ €œMake You Feel My Love€ was on Dylan€™s 1997 album Time Out of Mind, but the song was released as a cover by Billy Joel two months before Dylan€™s original version dropped. If you haven€™t before, check out Joel€™s version. Joel apes Dylan€™s trademark rasp, but still sings smoothly enough for you to appreciate the lyrics, which are phenomenal. In 1998, Garth Brooks took a shot at the song, but its most successful cover to date is Adele€™s.
