Valentine's Day: 20 Greatest Love Songs Of All Time
6. Make You Feel My Love Bob Dylan
http://youtu.be/0put0_a--Ng There are times when I watch people listening to Bob Dylan and I think to myself, There is no way in the world that you arent wishing somebody else would record this song so you dont have to listen to his voice. Dont get me wrong, I think the man is a brilliant songwriter (which is why so many artists cover/covet his work). I also enjoy a few of the songs that he sings: The Times They Are a-Changin, Lay Lady Lay, Like a Rolling Stone, and Mr. Tambourine Man. Make You Feel My Love was on Dylans 1997 album Time Out of Mind, but the song was released as a cover by Billy Joel two months before Dylans original version dropped. If you havent before, check out Joels version. Joel apes Dylans trademark rasp, but still sings smoothly enough for you to appreciate the lyrics, which are phenomenal. In 1998, Garth Brooks took a shot at the song, but its most successful cover to date is Adeles.
