6. Minecraft Is Now A Place For Love, Not Conflict
Mojang went full speed ahead with an epic prank that physically changed Minecraft into an altogether different beast. They updated the game with "Love and Hugs" to encourage players to enjoy the game in a more relaxed and peaceful manner, replacing monsters with "Inhabitants", removing combat and adding a Love meter. There's
a full changelog available, detailing the mass of changes, with some more favourites including smiling Creepers, because "they have gotten over their nervous disposition and are much more friendly once you get to know them." The cool thing is this update is completely playable and it's highly recommended to do so, even if just for today. It'll make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
