Whenever Shia LaBeouf is working on a new film, tales of unusual antics often ensue. Even still, it's difficult to imagine what the actor was thinking when he worked alongside Tom Hardy.

As he explained to Sean Evans during Hot Ones, LaBeouf and Hardy often wrestled each other when they were away from the set of Lawless. To recap, that was a 5' 7", 160lb LeBeouf challenging the man who played Bane from The Dark Knight Rises.

Regardless, it seemed LaBeouf struck Hardy as enough of a challenge that the two made it a regular thing. To them, it was a completely normal activity, but to an outsider, it might have come off as a bit strange.

One night LaBeouf's girlfriend decided to visit him, but Hardy didn't quite get the message. While the couple cuddled nude under the covers, Hardy broke into their room and hoisted his co-star on his shoulders, terrifying the young lady in the process.

The fiasco resulted in a brawl throughout the hotel. A somewhat enraged LaBeouf kept inching Hardy toward the staircase. Although LaBeouf didn't make it sound intentional, Hardy lost his footing and tumbled down the staircase.

Their play fighting ended up hurting the back of Hardy, making the rest of the shooting rather difficult. In the end, the actors managed to save face when they convinced everyone else on set that LaBeouf somehow knocked out his much larger cohort.
