10 Best Science Based Joe Rogan Experience Guests

8. Garrett Reisman – Episode 1425

This guy might have had one of the coolest careers in the world. As a former NASA astronaut, Reisman spent 95 days in a row in space. He currently works for the real world Star Fleet Federation, Space X, and has also spent several weeks living beneath the ocean. If any of those concepts vaguely interest you then this the episode for you.

If you've seen the sci-fi show The Expanse you might be familiar with what happens to the human body after prolonged periods of time spent in low gravity environments. Well, this guy can testify as to the real world effects it can have. According to Reisman, it took over a year to regain his full bone and muscle density after returning from space. He also talked about the prospect of public space travel and the likelihood of colonising Mars now that private companies are at the forefront of the space race.

This wouldn't be a Joe Rogan episode without him asking those burning childish questions that we all secretly want to know, however. You better believe Rogan asked what it's like to poop beneath the ocean and take a leak in space. Unsurprisingly, it doesn't sound all that pleasant.
