Ahh the humble stripe, suitable for any age and style. SS16 the high street favourite Topmans premium line, Topman Design created a collection inspired by Northern Soul, so expect lots high waist swing trousers, suits in bold chunky stripes of monochrome (something Beetlejuice would be proud of) and caramel tones. James Long made stripes one of the heros of his collection with graphic striped jumpers and coats. Asian designer Xander Zhou took us to Asia for his SS16 collection heavy in embroidery, but stripes were made into relaxed fitting trousers and polo shirts tucked into briefs.
