Remaining in Australia, Bloody Murder is hosted by comedians Tara Sariban and Barney Black. This one tells lesser known crime stories from Australia and around the globe.
Since the stories can get quite heavy, they’re broken up by True Crime Nerd Time (where listeners send in their recommendations for true crime books, documentaries etc.) and an ‘Aussie As’ at the end of the show. This is usually a hilarious crime related story that could only happen in Australia.
Like 99.9% of true crime podcasts, Bloody Murder never glorifies any criminal acts and always gives respect to the victims. The two comedians manage to balance this with a unique sense of humour and an obviously warm friendship. The podcast has built up a cult following on social media too.
