7. Man Tries To Use One Million Dollar Bill At Walmart

In 2011, a 53-year-old North Carolina man named Michael Anthony Fuller thought he'd come up with a master plan. Fuller walked into his local Walmart and brought $476 worth of items to the cashier, including a microwave oven and vacuum cleaner. So far, so legal. The twist is that Fuller tried to buy all these items using a novelty million-dollar bill, which he argued was legal tender. Naturally, he also demanded $999,524 in change from the bewildered cashier. Store employees sensibly phoned the police, who arrested Fuller. He was later charged with attempting to obtain property by false pretense, with a bond of $17,500. Police were unable to legally accept Monopoly money.
