10 Celebrities Who Need To Make Sanity-Restoring Resolutions
2. Miley Cyrus - Everything In Moderation.
If anyone could definitively say that 2013 was "their year", then Miley Cyrus has a very good claim to that. Breaking completely out of her shell from her Hannah Montana days, Miley's antics this year had everyone talking. Unfortunately, more often than not it wasn't positive talk, with critics lambasting her for "attention seeking" behavior and being a bad influence on her young fans, given the adult tone of many of her performances. Of course, all of Miley's performances worked for her and it's not like she's done a whole deal out of the ordinary for most female pop stars these days. Unlike some of those before her, it's clear at the moment that she's got her head firmly screwed on and she's not about to go off the rails - she's having fun and she's doing well for it. Let's face it: we'd all rather have the Miley who is swinging on a wrecking ball than the Miley who crooned her way through "The Climb" or, even worse, "Party in the USA". That doesn't mean Miley can be absolved of everything she did in 2013 though. There were certainly the gratuitous, needless moments; sledgehammer licking and that performance at the Grammys come to mind. Whilst she might be grabbing the headlines, there's no reason that she couldn't be just getting them for the good reasons. Turning down the dial every now and again might save her blushes and would be a good thing to carry forward to the new year. Just please don't go too far, Miley, because we can't stop listening to you.
