10 Celebrities Who Appeared On TV Totally Wasted

9. Danny DeVito

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=46wakJ8oggM One of the more comical and less-depressing entries onto this list is Danny DeVito's 2006 appearance on The View, where he promptly admits to still being wrecked from the night before, where he was out partying with George Clooney. The presenters and co-guests both appear anxious that he might say something inappropriate for TV, while the audience is waiting in anticipation, probably hoping that he would do just that. As DeVito talks about his visit to the White House during the Clinton era, he calls George Bush a "numb nuts" and does some ridiculous impressions of both the former President and the former Secretary of Defense, Donald Rumsfeld. The highlight comes when DeVito suggests he got some "action" with his wife when staying at the White House, and perhaps the best proof that he's actually wasted is how he manages to keep a straight face while promoting his horrid Christmas film Deck the Halls. Still, it's an interview that ended up being pretty harmless; it did nothing to impact his career in any way.
