A brand new show from the virtuoso behind the glorious Radio 4 one-off 'Pearl & Dave' and Peep Show's affectionate nerd 'Dobby', Isy Suttie's The Things We Do For Love eschews typical romantic prattle to dig deep into the best and worst anecdotes of love and heartbreak from some of her comedy friends.

Only a scant few episodes in to the run, it's apparent just how dense the show will be, having already skewered some complex romantic dilemmas, such as 'how many gifts for an unrequited love interest's birthday are too many?', if papier mache animals can save failing relationships (spoiler alert: they can't), and the confusing sexual gratification of a potential helicopter attack.

Suttie has a knack for establishing a sweet mutual understanding with her guest, drawing out particularly embarrassing asides without pouncing on the tales for cheap laughs.

Furthermore, she has volunteered some of her own worst moments in every episode so far, and seems to possess an unending well of heartfelt and hilarious stories to share with subscribers, and the itimate live setting she records each interview at.
