3. Eating Toblerone
Generally speaking, we like to consume at least 150g of Toblerone every day. Therefore, it's of paramount importance that proper etiquette is observed should the bar somehow find a way back into the fridge before finished.
All this time eating the stuff and we didn't realise that triangular design was supposed to make things easier.
Try breaking a piece of Toblerone off by pulling it outwards away from the bar and you'll be left with that little stump at the bottom. This can make putting the entire piece in your mouth at once a challenge. We don't know about you, but the thought of cramming less chocolate in there is pretty upsetting.
Breaking pieces of Toblerone inwards rather than outwards makes for a much easier and less messy eating experience. That's because the bar is designed so pieces snap easily when pushed, not pulled. This has the added advantage of avoiding 'Toblerone fingers', which is basically chocolatey digits with a name we've just made up.
