9. He Was Once A Nazi
In 1943, Donald Duck starred in a short called Der Feuhrer's Face, although it's original title was Donald Duck in Nutzi Land.
The animation depicted Donald as a Nazi, although he wasn't particularly enjoying the experience. His breakfast consists of wood for bread and a coffee made from a single bean. He struggles to build the shells in the factory where he works and ends up being so stressed he starts to have hallucinations.
Turns out Donald is only dreaming and he wakes up in his own bed, happy to realise he's in the USA. The animation ends with Donald throwing a tomato at the face of Hitler!
The propaganda short actually won an Academy Award and is the only Oscar that Donald has in his trophy cabinet.
