10 Glorious Reasons Why Tumblr Is Better Than Twitter

1. Tumblr Encourages More Creativity

We retweet or reblog because we want our followers to see this. But why do we post? We think we have something to say. On Twitter, you can try to be funny, profound or relevant, or all three, within your limited space. People retweet if they like it. On Tumblr, you have no limited space. You can post anything, but people will only reblog it if it has significance to their lives. And this is because of the limitlessness. When anything can be posted, you only select what's really good, whether that's Benedict Cumberbatch's likeness to a load of otters or the funniest quotes that Alex Turner has ever come out with. Tumblr is like a scrapbook of who you are. Twitter is better for interaction, and Tumblr is better for introspection. They're both good, but Tumblr's the one for me, because it lets me create. What do you think though? Which do you prefer? Do you shamelessly wish to publicise your Twitter or your Tumblr? Comment below!
