In 2005, a particularly gruesome Halloween decoration appeared in the town of Frederica, Delaware. Next to a busy road, the body of a woman was hanging from a tree, suspended around 15 feet above the ground. The body was seen by hundreds of individuals in the morning of 26th October, but nobody gave it a second thought due to the countless other decorations present along the street. It wasn't until several hours had passed that someone reported the grisly 'decoration' to the police, and it was discovered to have been the body of a woman that had committed suicide by hanging.
