When you're the boss, you can kiss those days of letting loose goodbye. Suddenly you're supposed to uphold all abstract ideals, many of which are foreign to you. "Dignity"? "Virtue"? What is this demonry? Unfortunately, being a boss€”at any level€”is being a figurehead of sorts. You suddenly have an image and a reputation to maintain, both on your own behalf and on behalf of your company. This image is also important to uphold for the sake of your employees' credibility and morale. If you fail to uphold a certain level of dignity in your position, you're going to lose respect. Fast.
