5. Cooked Breakfasts Aren't A Chore

Your mornings used to be so dull. You'd roll out of bed 10 minutes before you had to leave the house, pull some clothes on and grab a piece of toast or have a quick bowl of cereal before heading off. YAWN! BORING ALERT! These days, your mornings are filled with excitement. You're waking up a full hour earlier- 6am is such a beautiful time of day- to do some scrambling, roasting and frying because it turns out there are basically no low-carb breakfast options that don't require cooking and every book you've read says that the key to dieting is eating a good breakfast. You're having such a wonderful time with your early morning kitchen escapades that you barely notice the passive aggressive comments from your housemates about the fact that you've set the smoke alarm off three times this week because you've fallen asleep with bacon on the hob.
