"Aye, fight and you may die. Run, and you'll live... at least a while. And dying in your beds, many years from now, would you be willin' to trade ALL the days, from this day to that, for one chance, just one chance, to come back here and tell our enemies that they may take our lives, but they'll never take... OUR FREEDOM!" Surely everyone who watched that speech for the first time employed a Rafael Nadal air punch, followed by a "Come on!" It's an epic piece of cinema, showing just how cool you can look in a skirt. Had you not known that William Wallace was soon to be hanged drawn and quartered, you'd have no qualms about following such a Goliath of masculinity into battle. It's a bit more difficult to lead someone into battle today, unless you join the armed forces. You tend to sound a bit affected if you try to give a rousing speech before going paint-balling. Screaming "They may cover us in yellow paint, but they'll never take this flag!" just doesn't quite have the same gusto.
