1. Matthew Broderick - Killed Two Women In A Car Crash
Shortly after filming his most popular film role as the titular Ferris Bueller, Broderick vacationed in Northern Ireland with his on-screen sister and real life girlfriend, Jennifer Grey. While driving his rental, Broderick somehow found his way into the wrong lane - as in, speeding towards oncoming traffic. The incident resulted in the deaths of a mother and daughter, minor injuries for Grey and fractured legs, ribs, a collapsed lung and a concussion for Broderick. On account of the head trauma, Broderick stated: "I don't remember the day. I don't remember even getting up in the morning. I don't remember making my bed. What I first remember is waking up in the hospital, with a very strange feeling going on in my leg." He faced up to five years in prison for causing death through dangerous driving but got off with a ridiculously smaller conviction of careless driving which carried with it a $175 fine. Two years later he'd star in the heavily admired Glory and go on to voice Simba in The Lion King.
