5. Ghostly Sleep Recordings

Those phone apps that let you record overnight seem like a great idea. After all, you can find out if you talk or move around a lot in your sleep. Or, if you're as unlucky as single mother Jenny, you'll record ghosts rifling through your possessions and answering back to your sleepy mumblings. That's it, we're sleeping with the lights on.

Jenny, known as Redwantsblue80 on Reddit, downloaded the 'Sleep As Android' app and thought she'd give it a try. She didn't have a clue that she was about to terrify herself (and everyone else) by posting her findings online. In the recordings, a man's voice quite clearly says, "nothing" when Jenny hazily asks, "what are you doing?" Spooky.

She swears there was nobody else in the house that night. If a burglar had broken in, it makes sense that they'd take some of her things. Nothing was missing though, apart from a piece of Jenny's soul when she listened back to the chilling audio.
